What: Rebuild the Whippoorwill Trail
When: Saturday, June 18 @ 9:00 AM - Sunday, June 26 @ 5:00 PM (8 days)
Where: Whippoorwill area (see directions below)
What to Bring: Close-toed shoes, your own food and water, etc.

Come join us in completly re-building the trail to the ever-more-popular Whippoorwill climbing area. This is a huge project and we need all the volunteers we can get. It should also be a super-fun time, with food and music.

This week long project kicks off the morning of Saturday June 18th and will continue through the following weekend. We're partnering with the Army Corps of Engineers, which is provide lots of support.

Directions: From the intersection of Court St. 16 and Hwy. 19 in Fayetteville drive north on Hwy 19 for 20.8 miles. Just before crossing the bridge over Summersville Lake turn left onto Whippoorwill Rd. The road immediately bends to the right avoiding a private drive. A short distance down this road is another private drive to the left then just past that is a dirt road on the left. Pull off to the side of the road here and park. There is additional parking further down the road.
